Gross and Net Winner Scoring Change

In an executive emergency meeting over the holiday weekend at Hooters, a change was made to the 2010 scoring system. The reason we instituted the new gross and net winners this year was to help the lower handicaps get points for their play. As we've seen in the last two double points events and at Forest Dale it has proven to provide too large of a gap between the A and B Flights.

We determined that the winning Gross player should not be eligible to win the Net points as well. It gives the player an unfair advantage over the field of Richards. From now on the Gross Winner will not be included in the Net results. Dick Cup points will still apply however as far as the Net results are concerned. If the Gross winner would have also been the Net winner, he would receive the 10 Dick Cup points available.

Double Points Days will continue as a way for the rest of the field to move up the Levitra Leaderboard. [View season]

We have adjusted the Levitra Leaderboard to reflect these changes retroactively to the beginning of the season.
